VI RITAR NORRSKEN

Min bok Ottos ulliga tröja utspelar sig i norr och är inspirerad av de år jag bodde i Lofoten. I denna workshop hämtar vi inspiration från allt det vackra som finns i norr och skapar egna verk med berg och norrsken.

Workshopen passar barn mellan 5 och 10 år.

DEL 1 / 20 MINUTER
Jag läser ur Ottos ulliga tröja och eleverna får dela med sig av vad de skulle vilja göra på platsen som Otto besöker. Jag visar vilka illustrationer och fotografier som inspirerade mig när jag skapade boken och berättar om varför jag alltid har dragits till norr.

DEL 2 / 40 MINUTER
Barnen får antingen skapa ett bergslandskap med norrsken genom att klippa och klistra, eller rita det med färgpennor. För de yngsta barnen kan det vara lättare att enbart rita

MATERIAL & FÖRBEREDELSER

För klipp & klistra: Färgade papper, färgpennor, sax, lim och glitter.
För teckning: Vita A4-papper, blyerts, färgpennor och kritor.
Förberedelser: Ett arbetsblad utskrivet till varje elev.

LET’S DRAW THE NORTHERN LIGHTS

My book Otto goes north is set in the north and was inspired by the years I spent living in Lofoten. In this workshop, we draw inspiration from the beauty of the north and create our own artwork featuring mountains and the Northern Lights.
The workshop is suitable for children aged 5–10.

WORKSHOP STRUCTURE

PART 1 / 20 MINUTES
I read from Otto goes north, and the children get to share what they would like to do in the place Otto visits. I show them the illustrations and photographs that inspired me when I created the book and talk about why I have always been drawn to the north.

PART 2 / 40 MINUTES
The children can either create a mountain landscape with the Northern Lights by cutting and gluing, or draw one using coloured pencils. For the youngest children, drawing may be the easier option.

MATERIALS & PREPARATION

For cutting & gluing: Coloured paper, coloured pencils, scissors, glue and glitter.
For drawing: White A4 paper, pencils, coloured pencils and crayons.
Preparation: One worksheet printed for each child.
